2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

a) When Visiting the Website

When you access our website, the hosting provider (Wix.com Ltd.) automatically collects and temporarily stores technical information in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, and operating system used. This data cannot be directly linked to an individual and is used solely for the technical security and optimization of the website.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website).

b) When Using Our Project Submission Form

If you contact us through the form at wovieworks.com/form, we collect the following data:

• First name

• Phone number

• Email address

• Link to your project (e.g. Google Drive, SoundCloud, WeTransfer)

• Message text / details about your project and expectations

This data is used exclusively to process and evaluate your inquiry and to contact you.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking pre-contractual steps at your request), and, where you provide separate consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
 

3. Storage Period

We store the data submitted through the form for as long as necessary to process your inquiry, and for no longer than 12 months after the evaluation is completed. If a collaboration results, the retention periods agreed in the respective contract, or the applicable statutory retention periods, apply. Afterward, the data is deleted unless a legal retention obligation applies.
 

4. Cookies and Consent Management

Our website uses both technically necessary cookies and cookies/services that are only activated with your consent.

• Technically necessary components (e.g. Wix CMS, Wix Music, Usercentrics itself) are required for the operation of the website and are used without separate consent.

• Non-essential components (currently: Google Tag Services, for advertising purposes) are only activated after your explicit consent via our consent banner. Until you consent, these services remain blocked.

On your first visit to our website, you will be asked for consent via a consent banner (provided by Usercentrics). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings on the website.

5. Data Sharing / Hosting

Our website and form are operated via Wix.com Ltd. Wix acts as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR; a corresponding data processing agreement is in place. Since Wix may operate servers outside the EU/EEA, data transfer takes place on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

We do not share your data with third parties beyond this, except where legally required or with your explicit consent.
 

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• request access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR),

• request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),

• request deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),

• request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),

• receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR),

• object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),

• withdraw any consent given at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
